This Data Retention statement explains how long TrackBooth keeps different categories of data and what happens to that data when it is no longer needed. It complements our Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum.
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide the service, to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Account details and business contact information are retained for the life of your relationship with us and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Click, session and conversion data processed on a customer's behalf is retained according to the customer's configuration and our agreement with them. Customers act as the controller of this data and determine its retention within the platform, subject to any minimums or maximums we apply for operational and legal reasons.
System, postback and security logs are retained for a limited period sufficient to operate, debug and secure the service, and to investigate incidents, after which they are rotated out.
When a customer's subscription ends, we make their data available for export for a limited period. After that window closes, the data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law. Customers are responsible for exporting their data within the available window.
Residual copies of data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period after deletion from the live system, and are overwritten on the normal backup cycle.
For questions about retention or to request deletion of data for which we are the controller, contact [email protected].
